Hello,

I have worked in childcare for over a decade. Starting with afterschool babysitting before experiencing the daycare world, became a mommy's helper then a live in and live out full time nanny. Of all my experience, my absolute favorite age to work with is 2-4. They come into their own personalities and have large feelings and opinions to tackle. My favorite approach to early education is the Montessori method which in short is trusting children to make their own choices and learn at their own pace. 

The biggest reward I receive from my work is being able to watch the progression and development from when students are enrolled to the day they leave us, ready to face kindergarten. I named the center after my grandmother who was a beautiful artist. Students will complete one art project a day they will be able to bring home the following day. I am very excited to see what creative ideas your little ones grace me with. Another thing my grandmother was notorious for was taking in and caring for strays. There will be resident and visiting pets the children will be able to opt in or out to help care for them.
